2010 Board Meeting are the second Tuesday of the month at 6pm and will be followed by a Community Forum at 7pm. The Center invites everyone to attend a board meeting and/or community forum and help shape the future of our Community!

Both meetings are held at Spirit of Hope MCC, 3801 Wyandotte, KCMO.

8/26/2010	Real Estate Course: How to Buy a House in Today's Market On August 26th there will be a class in how to buy a house in todays market. It will be held at 10200 State Line at the ReMax Office, 7:00-8:30 p.m. Things are changing in the housing market and you need to be aware of what they are. There will be a mortgage person to tell you about loans, along with a credit person to talk about those bumps in your credit. We will talk about the Kansas City market.

9/03/2010	2010 Show-Me State Rodeo Weekend 2010 Show-Me State Rodeo, produced by MGRA, over Labor Day Weekend will feature 13 Events. The Rodeo will take place at Lone Wolf Ranch and Arena, 22801 State Line Rd., Cleveland, MO 64734. For more information about the facilities, check out the Lone Wolf Arena website. 9/03/2010	GLBT Jewish Shabbat on the first Friday of each month. The Kansas City Jewish GLBT Lecha Dodi is a community-based Jewish group (a Chavurah) serving the greater Kansas City metro and surrounding areas. We will meet on the first Friday of each month to attend Shabbat services, then regroup at a host home for lighting the Shabbat candles, prayers over wine and challah, readings, discussions, singing, celebrating and Oneg Shabbat. As we begin this wonderful journey together, The Temple, Congregation B'nai Jehudah has joyfully welcomed us to share in their Shabbat experience. Knowing that B'nai Jehudah has as one of its core values, "open hearts," we are confident this is a wonderful place in which we can pray together. All are welcome regardless of sexual orientation, religion or stream of Judaism. We'd love to have you spend a Shabbat with us and see what our little community has to offer! 9/12/2010	AIDS Bicycle Challenge The 6th annual AIDS Bicycle Challenge will be held on Sunday, September 12th, featuring routes for all ages and skill levels. Registration opens at 7:00 am, the 50 mile ride begins at 7:30 am, the 35 mile ride begins at 8:30 am and the 10 mile ride begins at 9:30 am. New this year, ABC will feature a 2 mile ride perfect for beginner riders on the new Riverfront biking trail. All rides begin and end in the beautiful Richard L. Berkley Riverfront Park along the scenic Missouri River in Kansas City, Missouri.
